Jammin' Against the Darkness is coming to Ohio State University's Schottenstein Arena in Columbus, OH on August 20th, 2005! Join event host Michael Redd of the Milwaukee Bucks as he welcomes award-winning Christian musicians Newsboys, Fred Hammond, and Columbus' own John Reuben, other NBA players, BMX riders, and skaters for an inspirational, action-packed evening you won't want to miss!

Jammin' is a "super event" with something for everyone. Schottenstein Arena will be rocking as NBA players take to the court for basketball demonstrations, a three-point shoot-out, dunks, and crowd giveaways. Jammin' has always been known for featuring some of today's best Christian bands, and this year is no different as both The Newsboys and Fred Hammond make repeat Jammin' appearances. Doors open at 6pm and the main event kicks off at 7pm!

In addition to hoops and music, you'll be witness to an unbelievable live BMX and skate demonstration. Then you'll be treated to a personal side of the players rarely seen as they share the key to their faith and success. In addition, Ohio State University head football coach Jim Tressel will share a word of encouragement and Jammin' co-founder Steve Jamison will bring a message of hope that will change your life forever. Allan Houston of the New York Knicks has hosted two Jammin' events and says,"There is nothing in the world like Jammin' Against the Darkness; the impact is awesome!"

Jamfest Festival and 3 on 3 Tournament - Jamfest is an outdoor festival that will take place all-day August 20th, leading to the evening's main event. Jamfest has an awesome 3 on 3 tournament, great local bands on the outdoor sound stage, a skate and BMX demonstration, and a children's area including inflatables for the kids. Get your team registered for the 3 on 3 tournament and get ready to show Columbus your stuff!
